Who operates Tasked With
Tasked With is a product of SeriousPixel, LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company. In this policy, “Tasked With,” “SeriousPixel,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to SeriousPixel, LLC.
What this policy currently covers
This policy applies to the public Tasked With marketing website, its early-access signup form, and communications related to that list. The homeschool-planning features described on this website are planned product functionality and are not yet covered as live data-processing services.
Before the full application launches, we will update this policy to describe the information the application collects, how parent-managed student profiles work, the service providers involved, retention periods, and the choices available to families.
Information we collect today
Information you provide
When you join the early-access list, we collect the email address you submit. The field is intended for a parent, guardian, or other adult interested in Tasked With.
Routine technical information
Our hosting and security providers may process routine technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as an IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events. We do not currently use the marketing site to build advertising profiles.
How we use information
- Maintain the Tasked With early-access and product-update list.
- Send launch news, product updates, research invitations, or related announcements.
- Respond to questions or requests you send us.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- Prevent misuse and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers to help operate the website and early-access list. That can include hosting, security, email delivery, form processing, and similar technical services that handle limited information on our behalf.
We expect providers to use information only to perform the services we request, subject to their agreements with us. Those providers may have their own privacy practices for the systems they operate.
Email choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing or product-update emails using the unsubscribe method included in those messages. You may also reply to a Tasked With email and ask us to remove your address. Transactional or legally required communications may be handled differently if you later create a product account.
Children and parent-managed profiles
The current marketing website and waitlist are directed to adults and are not intended to collect personal information directly from children under 13. Please do not submit a child’s email address through the waitlist form.
The planned application includes student dashboards inside a parent-managed family account. Before that functionality launches, we will publish additional disclosures and implement appropriate parental notice, consent, access, deletion, security, and retention procedures where required. A parent-set student PIN is intended as an age-appropriate access control inside the family account; it is not a substitute for the parent’s primary account credentials.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent the early-access email list. We may disclose information to service providers working for us; when reasonably necessary to protect Tasked With, our users, or others; to comply with law or valid legal process; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets.
Retention and security
We retain an early-access email until you unsubscribe, ask us to remove it, or we determine it is no longer needed for the purposes described here. We may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information we handle. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete the email address you submitted, or object to further marketing use. Until a dedicated privacy contact address is published, you may make a request by replying to any Tasked With email you receive. We may need to verify a request before completing it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Tasked With develops or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will identify the current version. If a change materially affects information already collected, we will provide notice in a manner appropriate to the change.
